This
year, besides our regular programming ,we televised the Stock
car races from, Wiscasset Speedway .The milk bowl from Thunder
road in Barre, Vermont and The long john, 150 from Unity Raceway
in Unity Maine. It was a very good and exciting racing season.!!

TIME ONCE AGAIN FOR, HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL
ACTION
! As in the past ,cable channel 5 will tape and air the 2002-2003
MEDOMAK VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL Basketball season We are currently
looking for sponsors for these games! Because cable channel
5, is not an ABC,CBS,NBC,FOX,or PBS affialiated station,we
depend soley on the financial support of folks and business's
like you to tape and air these games on channel 5. We are
what is called a local leased access channel Our programming
is also shared with KNOX-TV cable channel 58 in Rockland Last
year we were pleased to bring you the Medomak Valley High
School, Varsity,Boys and Girls,basketball games, Although
last year we had a few sponsors for these games,we still fell
short of covering our expenses. (again ,We are not funded
by any other outside source) Michael and Debby Daskam of Washington
Maine ,lease this station to provide our community with high
school sports,stock car racing from Wiscasset speedway,and
local events and announcements,that maybe of interest to the
community. For us to continue this programming,We need your
support! By becoming a sponsor,you not only advertise your
business,you also help support your community!
During
this 2002-2003, season cable channel 5 will tape and air at
least 25 of these games We are scheduled to tape and air for
broadcast, 12 Varsity
Boys games,at home including one preseason game and 11 Varsity
Girls games at home,in addition, We are also planning to bring
you a few of the freshmen and JV games. As we have previously
stated ,we are not funded by any outside source. We depend
soley,on folks and business's like you to bring these games
to television In order to continue our broadcasts,We need
your support ! A full season sponsorship is $180.00 A half
season sponsorship is $90.00 AS a sponsor,your name or your
business name ,location,and phone number, will appear on the
credits scroll,before each game on television. AS a sponsor,Whatever
package you choose,will help us obtain ou funding to pay for
our expenses in bringing these games to air on television.
At this price,the cost of sponsorship per game is only $7.25
What a great way to advertise your business,and support your
community!! And it's tax deductable!
